Job Summary
The Digital Marketing Strategist promotes the value of hospice services through effective communication and outreach. This remote role oversees the organization's social media presence, manages the website, and supports marketing materials. Periodic travel to the office and community locations is required for content curation and coordination.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in marketing/communications, social media, and web content management.
- Strong writing and editing skills; able to work independently in a remote setting.
- Hospice or healthcare experience strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to travel periodically for content curation in office and events.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy – Assess marketing effectiveness; monitor online mentions & engagement; develop community education content; research hospice/healthcare trends; evaluate new media channels.
- Digital & Social Media – Administer website and content; manage social platforms; ensure brand consistency; coordinate videos, including on-site content capture as needed.
- Marketing Materials – Design and edit collateral using Adobe/Canva; proofread all materials; coordinate print projects with vendors; monitor collateral request tracking.
